Overview
In this newsletter, you’ll discover our latest product enhancements: improvements to the drag-and-drop scheduling experience, updated filters for dispatchers, and color indicators to make the lives of field technicians easier.
And, that's not all - we're working on a powerful integration with ChatGPT to help field teams solve unforeseen challenges and reduce the need for a second truck roll! Here’s a quick preview.
What's New?
Visual Cues to Improve Drag-and-drop Scheduling
It can sometimes be tricky to know where to drag and drop a task when manually scheduling from the Calendar View. Have I dropped the task at the right time? Does the technician have the skills to perform the job?
Our new visual cues enhancement takes the guesswork out of drag-and-drop scheduling. While dragging a task to the calendar, task appointment times and technicians that match the scheduling criteria are now highlighted. In addition, dispatchers will also see “Recommended” boxes at times that fit the scheduling criteria.
Calendar View Filters and Improvements
Usability and performance are essential for efficient dispatching, which is why we never stop listening to our users when it comes to improving the scheduling experience.
With this in mind, we are introducing a number of enhancements that improve the overall usability and performance of the Calendar View. These include page-level filters to help you find the right tasks and technicians, and enhancements to the task list that facilitate quicker load times.
Recommendation Search & Filter
Recommendations help dispatchers save time and improve SLA adherence by facilitating the transition from manual scheduling to managing by exception.
As usage has increased, we’ve been closely monitoring your feedback and are excited to introduce a number of improvements to the Recommendation Center. These include search, filtering, and new expiration rules to declutter the recommendation center and allow dispatchers to take action on what matters most.
Take Action from the Mobile Task List
Some field service teams require their technicians to accept or reject the tasks assigned to them. Especially for tasks with tight SLA deadlines, the extra level of validation lets the backoffice know the assignee has seen the task and is able to perform the job at hand.
Based on this use case and client feedback, we are excited to introduce an enhancement to the Mobile Task List that allows technicians to take task-specific actions directly from the Task List screen – including accepting or rejecting a task – without having to enter the task workflow.
Enhancing the Mobile Datagrid with Color Indicators
Viewing a datagrid on mobile comes with trade-offs. While a lot of information can be displayed in a small screen area, it is difficult to highlight fields that are important for the user to focus on if the datagrid text is displayed in the same format.
The upcoming improvements to the mobile datagrid aim to solve this challenge by allowing you to configure the text color of a field, color indicators for statuses, and color tags that give the text in a particular cell a background color. With these improvements, you can now highlight important data visually so technicians have an easier time focusing on what's important.

ChatGPT Integration: Helping Technicians Solve Problems in the Field
Equipping technicians with the tools and knowledge to solve technical issues they face in the field can have a big impact on first-time fix rates and customer happiness.
This is why we are thrilled to announce an exciting new integration with ChatGTP. Once implemented, field workers will be able to use ChatGPT to quickly find solutions to problems, such as equipment issues or network faults. Rather than scrambling to call another technician or back office expert, they will be able to tap into the power of ChatGPT to guide them through the process in real time.
